The Chicago Bulls assigned center Nic Claxton and rookie wing Dailyn Swain to their G League affiliate Thursday.

Claxton has not played this season because of a hamstring strain. RotoWire reported that the Windy City assignment was part of his rehabilitation and that he was expected to return to Chicago after practicing Thursday.

The Bulls had listed Claxton as questionable before Wednesday’s game against the New York Knicks. He remained out as Chicago lost 135-105 and fell to 1-7.

Chicago next plays Philadelphia on Sunday.
