Revelyst buys European golf-technology distributor Optimum
The acquisition closed Oct. 23 and was announced Wednesday; the purchase price was not disclosed.
Revelyst has acquired Optimum Golf Technologies, a European distributor of equipment from its Foresight Sports and Bushnell Golf brands, the company announced Wednesday.
The transaction closed Oct. 23. Financial terms were not disclosed, and Optimum will be renamed Revelyst Golf Technology Europe.
Optimum’s employees and leadership will remain with the business. Edward Doling will lead sales and marketing, while Oliver Clark will become operations director for the European operation.
Revelyst said Optimum’s simulator installation and technical-support capabilities would strengthen its European business. The acquisition brings a distribution partner into the same group as the brands whose products it supplies.
