Jaylen Waddle Active Against Chiefs: Week 8 Fantasy Workload Risk
Denver confirms Waddle is active. The 4:25 p.m. EST lineup deadline has passed; eligibility does not guarantee an unrestricted workload.

Jaylen Waddle is active for Denver against Kansas City, resolving the earlier questionable designation. The Broncos’ official inactive announcement explicitly confirms his eligibility. That answers whether he is available; it does not establish that his chest injury will permit a normal workload.
This November 1 afternoon update supersedes the morning report that Waddle was trending toward playing. Denver’s 4:25 p.m. EST individual kickoff deadline has passed. Under ordinary individual-game locks, managers can no longer insert him, remove him or select a replacement for this game. Check the rules displayed by your platform if your league uses a different locking system.
The earlier recommendation assumed a 12-team, full-PPR redraft league. Waddle’s verified active status removed the need to wait for another inactive announcement. It did not turn a conditional flex choice into a guarantee of unrestricted routes, targets or fantasy points. Preserve that distinction when interpreting his eventual participation.
The official Week 8 injury report listed him absent Wednesday and limited Thursday and Friday after the chest problem. Those practice grades remain historical preparation evidence. Sunday’s active announcement supersedes uncertainty about game eligibility without rewriting the practice record.
FanSided’s November 1 assessment placed him in WR3 or flex territory and listed 26 catches, 276 receiving yards and 45 targets entering this game. Those are dated pregame totals, rather than a live stat line. They explain the earlier caution about treating availability alone as a high-end start.
For later roster decisions, compare the actual completed production and published usage when available. An active label cannot establish how many routes Waddle ran, whether the injury limited him during the game or what his next practice report will say. This update supplies no Week 9 medical designation or return timetable.
The current Fantasy Pulse separates closed NFL lineup windows from the remaining Sunday-night and Monday decisions. Use an eligible player whose own game remains unlocked when addressing a different unresolved roster position.
