DJ Moore Active Against Ravens: Week 8 Fantasy Outlook

Moore is active after two missed games. Buffalo’s scheduled 1 p.m. EST kickoff has passed, closing the normal lineup window while his workload remains a separate question.

DJ Moore is active for Buffalo against Baltimore on Sunday, November 1. Buffalo’s scheduled 1 p.m. EST kickoff has passed, closing the normal individual-game lineup window. His availability confirms that he was cleared after the injury absence, while the workload following that return remains a separate question.

The Bills’ official inactive announcement confirmed that Moore and tight end Dalton Kincaid were available after entering the game as questionable. Buffalo was scheduled to host Baltimore at Highmark Stadium. Sunday’s announcement replaced the earlier expectation that Moore would play with confirmed active status.

Moore missed Buffalo’s previous two games before the Week 7 bye. The Friday injury report listed him as limited in practice with a shoulder injury, including work in a red non-contact jersey. That practice history leaves a workload question even after the club clears a player to be available.

Entering Sunday, RotoWire’s November 1 analysis noted that Moore caught 11 passes for 167 yards and a touchdown on 18 targets in his two appearances without an early injury exit. That receiving opportunity is relevant, although two games remain a small sample.

Pat Mayo’s pregame Week 8 receiver list put Moore twelfth, ahead of Buffalo teammates Khalil Shakir and Keon Coleman. The list is one analyst’s baseline, not a consensus or a promise of that finish. That ordering described a forecast, not an observed performance.

In a 12-team, full-PPR redraft league, TSP’s preference is to keep Moore rostered while assessing the workload following his injury absence. His earlier targets support that patience. A manager can retain the player without assuming that every opportunity from his healthy appearances immediately returns.

Moore’s availability also matters when assessing Khalil Shakir and Keon Coleman. Their receiving opportunities while he was absent should not be projected forward unchanged. Kincaid’s availability restores another potential recipient. Assessing those players requires considering Buffalo’s total passing volume and who receives the opportunities.

Under ordinary individual-game locks, Moore cannot now be moved into or out of a Week 8 lineup. Leagues with different lock rules must follow their own settings. The next useful evidence is the workload recorded after the game, before making a later roster or trade decision.
