College GameDay Heads to Notre Dame–Miami for November 7
ESPN’s show will start at 9 a.m. EST in South Bend. The November 7 game remains a 7:30 p.m. EST kickoff on NBC and Peacock.

ESPN’s College GameDay will originate from Notre Dame’s campus on Saturday, November 7, before the Fighting Irish host Miami in South Bend. The show announced the destination October 31, giving the matchup a morning national broadcast ahead of its evening kickoff.
WNDU reported that GameDay will air from 9 a.m. to noon EST on ESPN. Notre Dame–Miami is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. EST on NBC and Peacock. The pregame show and the game therefore have different broadcasters and separate start times.
The Hurricanes will arrive unbeaten after their 38–35 victory at North Carolina on October 31. Miami scored two fourth-quarter touchdowns and forced a late turnover to protect its record. Miami improved to 8–0 overall and 6–0 in the ACC standings. Notre Dame also won Saturday, beating Navy 35–13, setting up the next meeting between the two programs with both coming off victories.
Their latest matchup ended with Miami winning 27–24 in the 2025 season opener. Next Saturday reverses the venue, bringing the Hurricanes to Notre Dame Stadium. Miami’s official schedule identifies South Bend as the site and confirms the November 7 date and evening start.
The week also includes the first 2026 College Football Playoff committee rankings, scheduled for November 3. Those rankings are a separate selection-committee assessment from the AP Top 25. The GameDay announcement does not determine either team’s eventual committee position or guarantee a playoff berth.
WNDU identified Notre Dame’s December 20, 2024 playoff game against Indiana as South Bend’s most recent previous GameDay stop. Its October 31 announcement did not supply a guest picker, exact campus set location or pit-entry instructions. Those details should be distinguished from the confirmed campus destination when fans plan attendance.
The announcement adds morning coverage to a night game rather than moving the football kickoff or changing its broadcast network.
