Duke–Army on Monday: Season-Opening Tipoff, TV Channel and How to Watch
Duke hosts Army at 6:30 p.m. EST on November 2. ESPNU has the U.S. broadcast, with official watch, audio and statistics links available through the schools.

Duke opens its 2026–27 men’s basketball regular season against Army West Point on Monday, November 2, at Cameron Indoor Stadium in Durham, North Carolina. The scheduled tipoff is 6:30 p.m. EST, with the U.S. television broadcast on ESPNU.
How to watch or listen
Duke’s official schedule provides the game’s Watch link, which leads to ESPN’s event page. Use that specific listing for streaming access rather than treating the ESPN, ESPNU and ESPN+ names as interchangeable subscriptions. This guide identifies the announced U.S. broadcaster; it does not establish carriage in other countries.
Fans who prefer audio can use the Listen link beside the Army fixture on Duke’s schedule. That route leads to The Varsity Network. The school also supplies a live-statistics link, providing an alternative way to follow the action without assuming that a statistical feed includes video.
The regular-season starting point
Duke’s preseason ended with a 90–84 exhibition victory at Kansas on October 25. Patrick Ngongba II contributed 28 points and 10 rebounds, while John Blackwell scored 23 points and made four of his six three-point attempts. That result offers recent personnel context, but it does not count as a regular-season win.
Army’s official game center independently lists the same Monday tipoff, venue and ESPNU coverage. Its matchup history records nine Duke victories and no Army wins, including Duke’s 114–59 victory in the November 2025 meeting. Those are historical results, separate from the new season’s standings.
What comes next
Duke stays home to face Coastal Carolina on November 5 at 8 p.m. EST on ACC Network, then meets Michigan State in Chicago on November 10 at 7 p.m. EST on ESPN. The changes in channels make the opponent-specific schedule useful throughout the opening week.
Army returns to Christl Arena for its home opener against Mount Saint Mary on November 5 at 6 p.m. EST. The Black Knights’ schedule then sends them to New Haven on November 10, so Monday’s trip to Duke begins a stretch alternating road and home games.
