Report: Micah Parsons Targets November 25 Return Against Rams
Parsons’ recovery follows knee surgery that ended his first Packers season. Green Bay’s defensive front is coming off six sacks against Carolina.

Micah Parsons could return November 25 against the Rams, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports.
The target would bring Green Bay’s leading pass rusher from last season back for the Thanksgiving Eve matchup in Los Angeles. Parsons remains on the physically unable to perform list, according to the current roster. A possible return date does not establish that he has been activated.
The Packers have emphasized physical readiness throughout his recovery. In an October 12 update, coach Matt LaFleur said the staff wanted the surgically repaired leg to match the strength and stamina of the other one. He also described medical testing and a gradual return to football work as separate steps.
Parsons tore his ACL during last December’s game at Denver and also needed a meniscus repair. LaFleur’s earlier comments explained why being closer to practice did not mean being ready for an immediate game appearance.
His first Packers season produced 12.5 sacks in 14 games before the injury ended it. He recorded 41 tackles, 12 tackles for loss and two forced fumbles. Those sacks extended a run of at least 12 in each of his first five NFL seasons.
Green Bay acquired Parsons from Dallas in August 2025 for defensive tackle Kenny Clark and first-round picks in 2026 and 2027. The move brought a player with 65 career sacks through five seasons into the Packers’ defensive front.
That front is coming off a productive Thursday performance without him. Green Bay beat Carolina 27–19 to improve to 5–3, sacking Bryce Young six times and intercepting him once. The defense also stopped two fourth-down attempts near midfield during the second half.
Green Bay has a Week 11 bye before the Los Angeles trip. A Week 12 return would leave seven regular-season games, with the Packers still competing for a playoff place.
