Golden State moved within one win of the championship; Game 6 is Thursday at 12:30 p.m. ET in Atlanta.

The Golden State Valkyries beat the Atlanta Dream 64–55 on Monday to take a 3–2 lead in the WNBA Finals.
Kiah Stokes and Veronica Burton each scored 13 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Stokes added three blocks and Burton four, according to the WNBA’s Finals coverage.
Rhyne Howard scored 20 for Atlanta. Angel Reese finished with seven points and 15 rebounds while dealing with foul trouble.
The win puts Golden State one victory from the championship. Atlanta must win Game 6 to extend the series to a deciding seventh game.
Game 6 is scheduled for Thursday, October 29, at 12:30 p.m. ET at State Farm Arena. The afternoon tipoff is a significant calendar detail for viewers accustomed to evening playoff games.
The series remains open despite the Valkyries’ advantage. Golden State has earned the opportunity to close it out, while Atlanta’s task is to respond at home and prevent Monday’s low-scoring defeat from becoming its final result of the season.
