Saudi Arabia’s Extreme H Event Postponed to 2027
The hydrogen-powered motorsport event will no longer take place on its planned October dates.

The second FIA Extreme H World Cup has been postponed to 2027, removing the event from its planned October 29–31 dates in Qiddiya City, Saudi Arabia.
The FIA, the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation and Extreme H confirmed the decision Monday. They cited logistical and operational challenges affecting preparations for the event.
The organizations said they remain committed to delivering the second edition with their Saudi partners in 2027. The statement did not provide a replacement day or weekend.
Extreme H uses hydrogen-powered off-road competition. The postponement changes the immediate sporting calendar while leaving the intended location and future arrangements subject to a more detailed update.
For spectators and viewers, the confirmed consequence is that this week’s event will not proceed on the advertised dates. Any revised ticketing, travel or broadcast arrangements should follow the organizers’ own announcements. The 2027 commitment is the current planning horizon, and should not be converted into a precise new date before one is released.
