Alibaba Brings Replay Technology and Fan Activations to Nets Home Opener
The company’s October 26 account describes the October 21 debut of the technology partnership announced September 28.

Alibaba said Monday that the Nets’ October 21 home opener against Charlotte marked the live debut of its technology partnership with Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment.
In its October 26 account, the company described player introductions using its Real-Time 360° Replay system at Barclays Center. Alibaba says a court-side camera network and processing algorithms combine multiple views to create freeze-frame and orbital replay effects.
The company also described an in-arena Nets Figure Lab where fans create personalized holographic collectible cards depicting themselves in Nets uniforms. Alibaba’s branding extended to the player tunnel.
The multiyear partnership was announced September 28, naming Alibaba an Official Technology and Cloud Partner and the team’s jersey-patch partner. The earlier agreement set out replay technology, fan collectibles and marketing work for the 2026–27 season.
Alibaba said its logo appeared on Brooklyn’s Classic Edition uniform at the opener. The Nets’ red, white and blue anniversary presentation connects the franchise’s ABA history with its 60th season.
