Mbappé Reaches 100 Real Madrid Goals With El Clásico Double
Kylian Mbappé scored both goals in Real Madrid’s 2–1 win at Barcelona, reaching 100 for the club with the late winner.
Kylian Mbappé reached 100 goals for Real Madrid with a double in Sunday’s 2–1 win over Barcelona at Spotify Camp Nou. His late winner settled the first El Clásico of the season after Raphinha had canceled out his first-half opener.
Mbappé completed the milestone from Eduardo Camavinga’s pass at the end of a counterattack. Madrid’s official report traced the move through Jude Bellingham and Arda Güler before Camavinga advanced and supplied the final ball.
The French forward had opened the scoring in the 41st minute when Gerard Martín’s attempted clearance struck his right thigh and went into the net. Yan Diomande had delivered the cross.
Raphinha equalized after the break, finishing from Pedri’s pass following a corner. Andriy Lunin subsequently kept out Gerard Martín’s header before Mbappé restored Madrid’s lead.
Madrid had named Mbappé in its squad without Vinícius Júnior before the match. The visitors preserved their late advantage to leave Barcelona with all three league points.
