South Florida Names Imperium Data WiFi Partner for New On-Campus Stadium
Imperium Data will provide wireless and network services as a founding partner of South Florida’s on-campus stadium, scheduled to open in fall 2027.

South Florida Athletics named technology company Imperium Data its official WiFi partner in a multiyear agreement announced Friday, October 30, adding a technology supplier to the university’s new on-campus stadium project.
The Tampa-based company will provide wireless and network services across the expanded Bulls athletics district. USF said Imperium Data would also be integrated into fan-engagement features at games and events across many of its 21 athletics programs.
The university identified Imperium Data as one of the stadium’s founding partners. The venue is scheduled to open in fall 2027, with the company helping provide the connectivity experience for spectators.
In its June stadium update, the university outlined how fans would move into the campus venue. The plan gave existing 2026 season-ticket holders priority access, while lifetime Bulls Club giving would determine seat-selection priority.
The same June account said the stadium’s premium areas represented about a tenth of total capacity. General season-ticket packages were advertised from $25 per game, and all 28 suites had been sold by then.
The stadium is designed for 35,000 spectators. In a June update, USF said about 8,000 seats were earmarked for students and outlined premium areas including 28 suites, 22 living-room boxes, 17 loge boxes and approximately 2,200 club seats.
That update described a combined stadium and football operations-center budget of $348.5 million and a planned opening game against Louisville on September 4, 2027. Friday’s partnership announcement continued to identify fall 2027 as the opening window.
The 2026 football season is USF’s final scheduled season at Raymond James Stadium before the campus move. The 2026 regular season schedule includes seven home games, the program’s first season with that many dates since 2019.
USF’s June report also described a field club connected to the locker room by a tunnel, giving patrons access near the players’ entrance.
