Paolo Banchero Out Against Knicks After High Ankle Sprain
The Magic forward has no announced return date. Anthony Black remains questionable for Sunday’s game in New York.

Paolo Banchero is out for the Orlando Magic’s Sunday game at the New York Knicks with a low-grade right high ankle sprain, according to the NBA’s afternoon injury report.
The Magic confirmed Saturday that an MRI showed the sprain. Further testing and evaluation are planned; no return date was announced.
Banchero finished Friday’s 115–93 loss to Minnesota with 14 points, six rebounds and five assists in 26 minutes. He played through three quarters and did not play in the fourth.
The 6-foot-10 forward had 35 points, seven rebounds and 10 assists in Orlando’s season-opening loss to Atlanta.
Jonathan Isaac is also out for left knee injury management. Anthony Black is questionable with a right ankle sprain, while New York lists Jose Alvarado as questionable with a left ankle sprain. Those designations were on the league’s 1 p.m. MDT report.
Orlando and New York both enter 0–2. Sunday’s game at Madison Square Garden is scheduled for 5 p.m. MDT.
