NHL Adds 11 Monday Games in European Prime Time
The new initiative starts November 30 and creates afternoon NHL viewing windows in North America.

The NHL is launching a European prime-time Monday package featuring 11 games and 16 clubs during the 2026–27 regular season.
The first game is Ottawa at Nashville on November 30. The announced European start converts to 1 p.m. ET, creating an afternoon viewing window for North American fans.
Advanced Television reported the launch Tuesday, including ITV’s participation in the United Kingdom. The initiative complements the league’s existing Saturday and Sunday European prime-time windows.
The NHL announcement frames the series as a way to make live games more accessible to international audiences during the working week.
The business change is the recurring scheduling window. It gives European broadcasters a regular appointment and places selected games earlier in the day for fans in the United States and Canada.
The name should not be used to assume a change to an unrelated domestic rights package. Viewers still need the broadcaster or service listed for their own territory and the specific game.
