Miami receiver Malachi Toney was named ACC Offensive Receiver of the Week on Monday after setting the school’s single-game record with 16 catches in Saturday’s 52–23 victory over Pitt.

The sophomore finished with 194 receiving yards and three touchdowns at Hard Rock Stadium. It was his second receiver award of the season, according to the ACC announcement. Toney broke his own mark of 13 receptions, set against Pitt in 2025.

The record performance helped keep Miami unbeaten at 7–0 overall and 5–0 in conference play. His touchdown catches covered 19, 53 and 11 yards.

Toney also received The Associated Press national player of the week award Monday, the school announced. He previously won that honor after catching 12 passes for 234 yards and three touchdowns in the season opener at Stanford.

Through seven games, Toney has 66 receptions for 952 yards and 11 touchdowns. He has exceeded 100 receiving yards five times. Miami next plays at North Carolina on October 31.
