David Benavidez–Michal Cieslak Set for December 5 Three-Belt Cruiserweight Unification
Benavidez will put his WBA and WBO cruiserweight titles against Cieslak’s WBC belt in Glendale. The December 5 card also includes Ortiz–Thurman.

David Benavidez is scheduled to face Michal Cieslak on Saturday, December 5 at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona, in a cruiserweight unification involving three world titles. Benavidez holds the WBA and WBO championships, while Cieslak brings the WBC belt to the matchup.
Premier Boxing Champions’ event listing identifies DAZN and Prime Video pay-per-view as the broadcast routes. The card is listed for 8 p.m. EST. That is the show’s announced opening time, not a confirmed ringwalk time for the main event. The official event page lists ticket access through Ticketmaster alongside the two announced pay-per-view viewing routes.
The fighters discussed the contest at an October 28 launch in Los Angeles, with Cieslak joining virtually from Poland. In the promoter’s distributed press-conference account, Benavidez said he had already completed thirteen weeks of training camp and described the opportunity to add another championship.
“I’m not looking past Cieslak. He’s a great fighter,” Benavidez said. He also described his previous performance against Gilberto Ramirez as the best of his career and said experience in lighter divisions had helped his move to cruiserweight. Cieslak said he was looking forward to competing in the United States.
The supporting program includes Vergil Ortiz Jr. against Keith Thurman in a scheduled twelve-round middleweight co-main event. Emiliano Vargas meets Omar Juarez over ten rounds at super lightweight, while Nikita Tszyu faces Roberto Valenzuela Jr. in a ten-round super welterweight contest. Marco Romero and Cruse Stewart are scheduled for the eight-round opener.
Sampson Boxing and TGB Promotions are promoting the event. Golden Boy is involved in Ortiz–Thurman, Top Rank in Vargas’ bout, and No Limit Boxing and the Rose Brothers in Tszyu’s contest. The three-belt main event is a unification opportunity rather than an already completed undisputed championship; the listed program does not include the IBF cruiserweight title.
