DIRECTV Adds DAZN’s Local NBA Games in Five Team Markets
The multiyear agreement covers eligible customers in the Cavaliers, Pacers, Grizzlies, Timberwolves and Spurs’ NBA-designated home territories.

DIRECTV and DAZN announced a multiyear agreement Monday to distribute local telecasts for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Indiana Pacers, Memphis Grizzlies, Minnesota Timberwolves and San Antonio Spurs within each team’s NBA-designated home territory.
The companies’ announcement covers DIRECTV streaming and satellite customers with Choice or higher packages and U-verse customers with U200 or higher packages. The team services include live pregame, game and postgame coverage.
DIRECTV said eligible customers will also gain access through the DAZN platform using their DIRECTV credentials at no additional cost in the coming weeks. That login feature was announced as a coming addition, rather than a confirmed service already available to every customer Monday.
The agreement extends distribution to DIRECTV FOR BUSINESS venues, including bars, restaurants and fitness clubs, within the five teams’ respective regions.
The scope is local telecasts in the designated territories. It does not establish nationwide access to all five teams’ full schedules. The Grizzlies viewing-package analysis explains why local inventory, free games and separate national windows need to be distinguished when comparing access.
