Nike to Outfit Mumbai Indians’ Women’s and Men’s Teams From 2027
A multiyear kit partnership covers match clothing, training gear and sportswear for both teams and their coaching staffs.

Nike will become the official kit partner of Mumbai Indians’ women’s and men’s teams in India beginning with the 2027 season, under a multiyear agreement announced Wednesday, October 21.
The contract covers match play, training clothing and sportswear. Nike will also outfit the teams’ coaches and technical staff, extending the arrangement beyond the players’ match kits.
Nike said athletes and staff would begin wearing its team gear this month. The women’s and men’s teams are due to reveal their new kits before their respective 2027 seasons.
Fan products are also part of the partnership. Nike said additional apparel would draw on Mumbai’s identity and culture, with further product details planned for the coming weeks.
Mumbai Indians batter Tilak Varma, who is already a Nike athlete, welcomed the agreement. “Nike has been part of my journey too, so bringing these two families together feels personal,” he said in Nike’s announcement.
The announcement did not disclose the agreement’s financial value or specify how many seasons the multiyear contract covers.
