Yankees move Grisham to leadoff, start Volpe and Caballero against Rays in Game 3

The New York Yankees moved Trent Grisham to the leadoff spot and included Anthony Volpe and José Caballero in their starting lineup for Wednesday’s ALDS Game 3 against the Tampa Bay Rays.

Grisham is in center field. Volpe bats seventh and plays second base, while Caballero bats ninth and starts at third. Ben Rice follows Grisham as the designated hitter, with Cody Bellinger batting cleanup and playing left field.

New York enters the game down 2-0 after Tampa Bay’s 5-2 victory in Game 2. Max Fried is the Yankees’ announced starter against Nick Martinez at Yankee Stadium, with first pitch scheduled for 6 p.m. Mountain Time.
