Macklin Celebrini a game-time decision as Sharks visit Blues
Celebrini joined San Jose’s morning skate Thursday after missing two practices, but his status for the game in St. Louis remains undecided.

Macklin Celebrini is a game-time decision for the San Jose Sharks’ visit to the St. Louis Blues on Thursday because of a lower-body injury, according to the NHL’s current availability report.
Celebrini participated in the morning skate after missing practice Tuesday and Wednesday. He took warmups before Monday’s 5–0 loss at Dallas but did not play. His return to the ice Thursday does not establish that he will be available against St. Louis.
The 20-year-old has five assists in two appearances this season. He opened with three assists against Florida and two against Los Angeles, both San Jose overtime victories. The Sharks enter Thursday’s game at 2–1–0.
Will Smith is projected at center between Mason Marchment and Igor Chernyshov in the NHL lineup report. Smith has two goals and an assist through three games. San Jose managed 13 shots in the Dallas loss without Celebrini.
The Blues, 1–2–0, are playing their home opener after three road games. Puck drop at Enterprise Center is scheduled for 6 p.m. Mountain Time. The game streams nationally in the United States on ESPN+, Disney+ and Hulu, with Sportsnet+ listed for Canada.
