Patriots lose Gonzalez and Barmore for Buffalo, but Maye is cleared
Both defensive starters are out with shoulder injuries. Drake Maye practiced fully all week and has no game designation for Sunday.

New England will visit Buffalo without Christian Gonzalez and Christian Barmore after ruling out both defensive starters with shoulder injuries Friday.
The cornerback and defensive tackle missed all three practices this week. Gonzalez was hurt making a tackle against Jacksonville last Sunday, although he stayed in that game, according to the Patriots’ injury report analysis.
Drake Maye is cleared to play. The quarterback appeared on the report with a right shoulder injury but practiced fully every day and received no game designation. Mike Vrabel said the listing did not cost him practice reps.
Friday’s report listed seven Patriots as questionable, including right tackle Morgan Moses and defensive lineman Dre’Mont Jones.
Saturday update: New England downgraded cornerback Channing Crowder to out for Sunday’s game against Buffalo.
Buffalo has its own decision at cornerback. Christian Benford missed practice with a toe injury and is questionable, while receiver Keon Coleman is expected to play despite an ankle issue, according to the Bills’ Friday report.
Sunday’s game at Highmark Stadium starts at 1 p.m. ET, or 11 a.m. Mountain Time, on CBS in the United States.
