Packers’ Keisean Nixon returns to practice after resting groin injury
Green Bay’s starting cornerback was back Thursday as the Packers prepared to host Dallas on Sunday night.

Keisean Nixon returned to Green Bay Packers practice Thursday after a groin problem kept the starting cornerback out Wednesday, according to practice reports from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and Sports Illustrated’s Bill Huber.
Coach Matt LaFleur said before Thursday’s session that Nixon had felt some discomfort and the team gave him a day to rest. Green Bay was preparing for Sunday’s home game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Fellow cornerback Benjamin St-Juste remained out with a hamstring injury after leaving last week’s game against Chicago. Dallas brings a receiving group led by CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens, while Nixon and rookie Brandon Cisse have been Green Bay’s starting cornerbacks.
Nixon has 30 tackles, four passes defended, one interception and a half-sack in five games this season, according to the team’s statistics. He started all 17 games last season. The Packers will practice again Friday before issuing their final game designations for Sunday.
