NBC’s 14 Sunday-night MLB broadcasts average 2.7 million viewers
The reported average includes NBC television and Peacock streaming, with limits on comparisons to other packages.

NBC’s 14 primetime Sunday Night Baseball broadcasts averaged 2.7 million viewers across television and streaming in the package’s first season on the network, Sports Media Watch reported.
The average combines Nielsen-measured television audiences with Peacock streaming data tracked by Adobe Analytics. It does not cover the entire Sunday-night schedule.
Games carried only on Peacock and NBCSN were excluded from the rated sample. Some fell during competition from the NBA and NHL playoffs or the NFL season, making the selection of broadcast windows relevant to the result.
Five of the 14 NBC games exceeded three million viewers.
The reported average is the series’ highest since 2007, but the comparison has limits. ESPN’s previous package included all Sunday-night games in its rated schedule, and the measurement approach differs.
The 2.7 million figure describes the selected NBC primetime broadcasts. It should not be presented as the audience for every Sunday-night game or used alone to establish a directly comparable gain over another network’s full-season package.
