Soldier Field
Case Keenum turned Monday night into an embarrassment for the Eagles. Chicago’s replacement quarterback threw two touchdown passes, ran for another score and led the Bears to a 27–7 win at Soldier Field, ending Philadelphia’s unbeaten start.
Keenum completed 24 of 34 passes for 247 yards without an interception. His touchdown throws went to Luther Burden III and Kalif Raymond; his one-yard sneak in the fourth quarter put the game beyond Philadelphia. Both teams finished the night 2–1.
A close halftime score became a rout
Philadelphia was still within three points after Jalen Hurts scored on a one-yard sneak as the first half expired. The Eagles trailed 10–7 and had the ball to start the third quarter. They did not score again.
Cairo Santos extended Chicago’s lead with a 48-yard field goal. Keenum then found Raymond for a 41-yard touchdown, turning a one-possession game into a 20–7 advantage. His fourth-quarter rushing touchdown completed a 13-play, 58-yard drive that consumed 8:04.
Chicago controlled the game
The Bears gained 375 yards to Philadelphia’s 248 and held the ball for 36:53. They finished without a turnover; the Eagles committed three. Philadelphia converted only two of nine third downs.
Hurts finished 16 of 25 for 153 passing yards, no touchdown passes and an interception. Andy Dalton also threw an interception during a brief first-half appearance before Hurts returned. Saquon Barkley ran for 82 yards on 15 carries, but Philadelphia’s offense produced no second-half points.
Raymond led Chicago with 90 receiving yards on six catches. Burden caught seven passes for 61 yards, including the opening eight-yard touchdown. D’Andre Swift added 84 rushing yards. Keenum supplied the headline; Chicago’s control of possession and the turnover margin supplied the separation.
