Colts place Arden Key on injured reserve ahead of Steelers game
Indianapolis places the defensive end on IR and elevates receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine.

The Indianapolis Colts placed defensive end Arden Key on injured reserve Saturday ahead of Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The club also elevated receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine from the practice squad.
Key started Indianapolis’ first four games, recording eight tackles, half a sack and one forced fumble. He had already been ruled out against Pittsburgh with a hamstring injury on Friday’s injury report.
The veteran joined the Colts this season after playing for Tennessee from 2023 through 2025. Across 120 career games, including 50 starts, Key has 31 sacks, 39 tackles for loss and five forced fumbles.
Westbrook-Ikhine is being elevated for the third consecutive game after playing against Houston in Week 3 and Washington in Week 4. Indianapolis signed him to its practice squad on August 31 following the offseason and training camp.
The receiver has 137 career catches for 1,862 yards and 19 touchdowns in 95 games with Tennessee, Miami and Indianapolis.
