Aaron Judge’s Return Is Getting Closer. There Is No Date Yet.

September 3 update: Aaron Boone says Aaron Judge could return during the homestand beginning September 8; no activation date is confirmed. MLB.com reported that outlook September 1.

Judge has been working back from a stress fracture of his right first rib. USA Today’s August 27 update described progress in his hitting work, with higher-velocity pitching still an upcoming step. A possible return window should not be confused with clearance.
