Before puck drop

Nashville at Montreal, 5 p.m.: Jacob Fowler will make his first start of the season after Sam Montembeault’s practice injury. Philadelphia visits Ottawa in the same window, with Linus Ullmark returning to the Senators’ net.

Vancouver at Carolina, 5 p.m.: The Hurricanes seek a third consecutive win after beating Montreal 6–4. Seth Jarvis has resumed contact practice, but remains out. Carolina’s lineup report projects Brandon Bussi opposite Kevin Lankinen.

San Jose at St. Louis, 6 p.m.: Macklin Celebrini is a game-time decision with a lower-body injury. Will Smith is projected at center if Celebrini remains unavailable. The Blues are playing their home opener after three road games.

Choosing the right viewing route

Canada: TSN and RDS regional games remain subject to territorial restrictions. Outside a team’s local market, Sportsnet+ Premium or NHL Centre Ice can provide out-of-market coverage. Sportsnet+ Standard has regional blackouts. A channel appearing in the schedule does not mean every Canadian subscription includes it; check the Sportsnet blackout guide against your location.

United States: Sharks–Blues is a national streaming game on ESPN+, Disney+ and Hulu. The other listed outlets serve their respective team markets. Out-of-market games generally stream through NHL Power Play on ESPN+, subject to local blackouts. Dallas’s Prime Video listing is a U.S. team-market feed, not a Canadian national Prime game.
