Final recap
The Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Atlanta Braves 4–1 at Truist Park on Wednesday, October 7, winning the National League Division Series 3–1 and advancing to the NL Championship Series. Andy Pages’ two-run single in the seventh inning broke a 1–1 tie and gave Los Angeles the lead for good.
Pages singled off Robert Suarez to score Teoscar Hernández and Tommy Edman for a 3–1 lead. He finished 2 for 3 with two RBIs. Max Muncy added a solo home run off Raisel Iglesias in the ninth.
Atlanta scored first when Michael Harris II came home on Tyler Glasnow’s first-inning wild pitch. The Dodgers tied it in the second when Muncy reached on a fielding error by shortstop Mauricio Dubón and Shohei Ohtani scored.
Glasnow allowed one run on one hit in 4⅔ innings, with five walks and five strikeouts. Alex Vesia, Edgardo Henriquez, Tanner Scott and Edwin Díaz combined for 4⅓ scoreless innings of relief. Henriquez earned the win, and Díaz pitched a perfect ninth for the save.
Tyler Mahle took the loss after allowing two runs, one earned, and three hits in 6⅓ innings. Atlanta finished with three hits and two errors and left seven runners on base.
