Roger McQueen is set to make his NHL debut for the Anaheim Ducks against the Calgary Flames on Tuesday, October 13. The game at Honda Center starts at 9:45 p.m. ET, 7:45 p.m. Mountain.

Anaheim recalled the 20-year-old center from the AHL’s San Diego Gulls on Tuesday. The team confirmed his debut, theScore reported, following an earlier Sportsnet report that he could join the lineup.

The Ducks selected McQueen 10th overall in the 2025 draft. He has scored three goals for San Diego this season after finishing his college year at Providence with 11 goals and 27 points in 36 games.

He signed his entry-level contract in April and began his professional career with San Diego last spring. Tuesday’s assignment brings him to the NHL after that initial development period.

McQueen practiced between Frank Vatrano and A.J. Greer on Anaheim’s third line, according to the NHL’s lineup report. That combination remains a projection until the game lineup is finalized. Anaheim enters the matchup at 4-1-0, with Calgary still seeking its first win of the season.
