MLB Launches Redesigned App for Foldable iPhone Duo
The app combines live baseball and statistics.

MLB has launched a version of its app for Apple’s foldable iPhone Duo, giving fans a way to follow a game and its statistics across the device’s display surfaces. Apple said the baseball app was ready for the World Series.
Apple’s October 22 announcement describes a partly folded, tabletop setup with video on the upright display and real-time game numbers on the lower surface. The larger inner display also supports games, highlights, scores and leaderboards.
Apple says the phone’s two displays share an aspect ratio, allowing apps to scale proportionally as users open the device. Its announcement names MLB among the sports services adapting to the new format.
Optimized apps carry a Made for iPhone Duo badge on their App Store product pages. Apple also announced dedicated editorial collections to help users find apps designed for the folding screen.
MLB separately said additional features were planned for Opening Day 2027.
