Vinicius Junior Misses El Clasico As Real Madrid Name Mbappe in Squad

Vinicius Junior remains unavailable through suspension for Sunday’s El Clasico against Barcelona, while Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham are included in Real Madrid’s traveling squad announced Saturday, October 24.

The club’s official list names 23 players for the trip to Camp Nou. Its forward group includes Mbappe, Endrick, Carlos Espi, Brahim Diaz and Yan Diomande, with Vinicius absent.

Get Spanish Football News confirmed that the Brazilian’s omission reflects his domestic suspension and that Eder Militao returns to the available group.

Bellingham is joined in midfield by Eduardo Camavinga, Federico Valverde, Aurelien Tchouameni, Arda Guler, Bernardo Silva and Thiago. The defensive selections include Militao, Dean Huijsen, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ibrahima Konate, Marc Cucurella, Alvaro Carreras, Antonio Rudiger and Denzel Dumfries.

The squad announcement confirms who is available for selection, rather than a starting lineup. Jose Mourinho’s final team will be named closer to kickoff, with the suspended Vinicius excluded from those options for the meeting with Barcelona.
