Flavio Cobolli Withdraws From Paris Masters but Remains in ATP Finals Contention
Cobolli cited continued discomfort after Vienna and said he did not want to risk competing in Paris.

Flavio Cobolli has withdrawn from the Rolex Paris Masters after reporting continued discomfort, ending his opportunity to earn more points in Paris while leaving him in contention for a first appearance at the ATP Finals.
The Italian announced his decision on Instagram Stories on Monday, November 2, according to the ATP Tour’s report. He said he had tried training in the gym after media day but decided against competing.
“I’m still feeling some discomfort and I don’t want to take any risks,” Cobolli wrote.
Cobolli had also withdrawn during his second-round match against Matteo Berrettini in Vienna the previous week. His Paris announcement did not provide a detailed medical diagnosis or a timetable for returning to competition.
The ATP said Cobolli remained in contention to make his debut at the season-ending tournament in Turin despite missing Paris. Withdrawal from this event does not itself confirm that he will miss the Finals, and qualification remains separate from his fitness to play.
Cobolli reached his first major final at Roland Garros in June and won the Acapulco title earlier this season. The ATP listed him at No. 6 in the world in its withdrawal report.
