Ryan Gravenberch Ruled Out of Liverpool’s Fenerbahce Match With Heel Injury
Liverpool confirmed the midfielder will stay at the AXA Training Centre for treatment while a 22-man squad travels to Istanbul.

Ryan Gravenberch will miss Liverpool’s Champions League match at Fenerbahce on Wednesday because of a heel injury, the club confirmed on Tuesday.
The midfielder will remain at the AXA Training Centre for treatment with Liverpool’s medical staff. The club’s injury announcement did not give a return date or specify how long he is expected to be unavailable.
Gravenberch was absent from the 22-man travelling squad named for the trip to Istanbul. Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, Trey Nyoni and Florian Wirtz are among the midfield options included in the group.
The travelling party also includes Alisson, Virgil van Dijk, Alexander Isak, Cody Gakpo and Bradley Barcola. Liverpool departed from John Lennon Airport on Tuesday morning ahead of a training session at the match venue.
The match is scheduled for November 4 at Sukru Saracoglu Stadium, with kickoff at 12:45 p.m. EST. It is Liverpool’s fourth fixture in the Champions League’s league phase.
Head coach Andoni Iraola is travelling with the squad. Gravenberch’s confirmed absence applies to the Fenerbahce match; the club has not announced his availability for subsequent fixtures.
