Valkyries Championship Parade: November 4 Start Time, Route and How to Watch
Golden State’s championship parade runs November 4 from 3–5 p.m. EST. NBC coverage starts at 12:30 p.m. EST, with television, streaming and route details.

The Golden State Valkyries’ championship parade is Wednesday, November 4, with the public procession scheduled for 3–5 p.m. EST along San Francisco’s Embarcadero. NBC Bay Area will begin its television and online coverage at 12:30 p.m. EST, showing the earlier celebration in Oakland before the team heads to the San Francisco parade.
How to watch the Valkyries parade
NBC Bay Area’s viewing announcement lists its local television broadcast, website and app as coverage routes. The broadcaster also says its Facebook and YouTube pages will carry a livestream of the celebration. The earlier coverage start includes a private ceremony in Oakland; it is separate from the public parade’s scheduled start.
The NBC Bay Area News streaming channel will also show the event. NBC lists that channel on services including Roku TV, Peacock, Fire TV, Samsung TV Plus, Xumo Play, Pluto, Google TV and Amazon Prime Video. Look for the named local news channel on those services.
The announced television coverage is local to the Bay Area. The broadcaster’s notice does not establish Canadian television carriage or guarantee that every online route works in every country. Viewers outside the United States should check the linked stream’s availability in their location before the celebration begins.
Parade route and arrival time
The team’s official parade information places the start at the Ferry Building near Mission Street. The procession follows the Embarcadero and finishes at King and Second streets, near Oracle Park. Fans may begin lining up at noon EST on the bay side of the Embarcadero between Mission and Second streets.
The celebration will include Valkyries players, coaches and staff, along with city officials and invited guests. The team has announced a fan viewing area and merchandise opportunities along the route. The Oakland ceremony is private, while the announced San Francisco route is where supporters can line up for the public procession.
Travel and street closures
SFMTA’s parade advisory lists waterfront street closures and changes to several Muni routes. Check the current advisory before traveling, particularly if a usual stop is along the Embarcadero. BART’s parade information directs riders to Embarcadero or Montgomery stations and says additional, longer trains are planned. Its current trip guidance is available at BART’s parade page.
Golden State earned the celebration by beating Atlanta 68–63 in Game 7 to claim its first WNBA championship. All times in this guide are Eastern Standard Time.
