Chicago beat New England 30–24 on Thursday at Soldier Field. Caleb Williams threw for 308 yards and two touchdowns for the Bears; Drake Maye finished with 321 passing yards and two touchdowns for the Patriots.
Cairo Santos’ 58-yard field goal with 1:34 remaining made it 30–21. Andy Borregales’ 47-yard field goal with 37 seconds left cut the margin to six, but Rome Odunze recovered the ensuing onside kick and Williams took a knee before the game ended.
