Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka scored twice apiece as England beat Croatia 7–0 in their Nations League match in Rijeka on October 3. Jude Bellingham, Anthony Gordon and Morgan Rogers also scored as England moved to six points from three games in Group A3.
Kane opened the scoring in the eighth minute and Bellingham made it 2–0 in the 21st. Gordon converted Jarell Quansah’s cross in the 39th minute before Saka added England’s fourth just before halftime.
The goals continued after the interval. Kane scored his second from Elliot Anderson’s delivery in the 53rd minute, Saka struck again in the 68th and Rogers completed the scoring in the 87th after Bellingham’s forward pass.
Alex Scott made his first senior England start in Thomas Tuchel’s side. England ended the evening second in the group, behind Spain, who beat the Czech Republic 3–1 to reach nine points.
England host the Czech Republic on October 6 in their fourth match of the combined September–October international window. Their remaining group games are against Croatia and Spain in November.
