Harry Kane scored twice as England beat Czechia 3–0 at Wembley on October 6. His 125th appearance drew him level with Peter Shilton as the England men’s senior team’s most-capped player.
England went ahead in the 27th minute when Vladimír Coufal turned Kane’s low cross into his own net. Kane made it 2–0 in the 40th minute, finishing Morgan Rogers’ cross after Elliot Anderson’s pass had sent Rogers behind the defense.
Kane hit the crossbar after halftime before heading in Lewis Hall’s corner in the 57th minute. The goals took his England total to 91, with six coming during the four-game international window.
Jordan Pickford kept a clean sheet as Thomas Tuchel’s side followed up its 2–0 win in the reverse fixture in Prague. England has won three of its four Nations League group games.
