World Series Ticket Refunds: What Happens if Games 5, 6 or 7 Are Not Played?
Single-game refunds, package credits and resale orders follow different routes. Start with the original seller and your purchase type.

If World Series Games 5, 6 or 7 are unnecessary, the refund route depends on the original seller and the kind of ticket you bought. A single-game purchase, a postseason strip and a resale order can lead to different outcomes.
Start with your order confirmation. Find the company that charged you, the game attached to the order and whether the purchase was a single game or part of a package. Those details matter more than which app displays the barcode.
Club Policies for Unplayed Games
| Purchase | Published Treatment |
|---|---|
| Brewers direct single-game tickets and parking | 15 business days after the club’s postseason; allow 5–7 more for bank posting. |
| Brewers strips | 2027 season-ticket credit. |
| Rays direct single-game tickets and parking | Automatic refund in 7–10 business days. |
| Secondary-market orders | Contact the original seller. |
What to Check on Your Order
Keep the confirmation and transaction record until the adjustment appears. If several people are attending together but one person paid, make sure that purchaser checks the account and original payment method. A transferred ticket does not necessarily make the recipient the person who receives the refund.
For a package order, check its own terms before expecting a cash payment. Keep the order number handy when asking the club to explain your options. The table’s direct single-game route is not a substitute for those package terms.
Also distinguish an unnecessary game from one moved to another date. A series ending early removes a game from the schedule. A postponement can leave a ticket valid for a later date. Before cancelling travel or discarding an order, establish which situation applies and read the seller’s notice.
Review any fee lines separately from the ticket amount. Milwaukee’s postseason terms exclude per-order processing fees. Check the itemized receipt rather than assuming the total charge and ticket face value are identical.
For the buying context, see TSP’s World Series resale-ticket comparison. The Brewers and Rays policy pages are the starting points for a club-direct order.
