World Series resale tickets in the Tampa Bay market were substantially cheaper than Milwaukee’s in an October 20 report by Front Office Sports, citing TicketData.

The report listed prices starting at $766 per ticket for Games 3 and 4 at Tropicana Field. The lowest listed resale prices for Games 1 and 2 at Milwaukee’s American Family Field were $3,107 and $2,748, respectively.

The Game 1 figure was $2,341 above the reported Tampa Bay entry price. Front Office Sports said Milwaukee’s opener had been around $2,800 early Monday, while the Tampa Bay figure had fallen nearly 20% since the Rays clinched the American League pennant Monday night.

These are reported U.S. dollar resale prices from October 20, rather than current inventory or face-value prices from the clubs. The report did not specify whether its quoted figures included fees.

MLB’s schedule places Games 1–2 in Milwaukee October 23–24 and Games 3–4 at Tropicana Field October 26–27, all at 6 p.m. MDT.
