Packers clear Edgerrin Cooper; Warren Brinson goes on injured reserve
Cooper has cleared concussion protocol and is off the injury report before Sunday’s Tampa Bay game. Green Bay placed Brinson on injured reserve Saturday.

The Green Bay Packers removed linebacker Edgerrin Cooper from their injury report Saturday after he cleared concussion protocol, making him available for Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Cooper had carried a questionable designation Friday with shoulder and concussion concerns, although he returned to full participation in that day’s practice. The team’s Saturday announcement removed that uncertainty.
Green Bay also placed defensive tackle Warren Brinson on injured reserve. General manager Brian Gutekunst announced the move Saturday after Brinson had already been ruled out for the Tampa Bay game with calf and groin injuries.
Guards Aaron Banks and Jacob Monk and defensive lineman Anthony Campbell were also ruled out in Friday’s report. Center and guard Jager Burton remained questionable with a groin injury.
The Packers visit Tampa Bay on October 4, with kickoff scheduled for 1 p.m. ET, 11 a.m. MDT.
