The San Diego Padres activated closer Mason Miller from the paternity list Wednesday, restoring him to their bullpen for NLDS Game 4 against the Milwaukee Brewers at Petco Park.

Miller had missed Tuesday’s 4-3 Game 3 victory while on paternity leave. Wandy Peralta filled his postseason roster spot. MLB’s Wednesday transaction record lists Miller’s activation and a corresponding roster-status change for Peralta.

San Diego enters Game 4 trailing the best-of-five series 2-1. Walker Buehler is the Padres’ announced starter, with first pitch scheduled for 8 p.m. Mountain Time.

Adrian Morejon remained uncertain with left shoulder fatigue, MLB.com’s AJ Cassavell reported.
