Lambeau hosts its 25th NBC Sunday night game
The Packers host Dallas in the teams’ fourth Sunday Night Football meeting. Last season’s encounter ended in a 40–40 overtime tie.

The Green Bay Packers host the Dallas Cowboys at Lambeau Field on Sunday, October 18, at 6:20 p.m. MDT. It is Lambeau’s 25th NBC Sunday night game.
It is the teams’ fourth Sunday Night Football meeting and their second in consecutive seasons, according to Green Bay’s game notes. The previous meetings in Green Bay were in 2008 and 2010.
Their latest encounter, at AT&T Stadium in September 2025, finished 40–40 in overtime. Green Bay’s notes identify it as the second-highest-scoring tie in NFL history. The teams scored on nine consecutive drives to finish that game.
The stadium itself is in its 70th season. It opened as Green Bay City Stadium on September 29, 1957, with a 21–17 Packers win over Chicago, and was renamed Lambeau Field in 1965. Packers historian Cliff Christl documented the stadium’s evolution this summer.
The matchup returns to Green Bay with the Packers holding an 8–2 regular-season record against Dallas at Lambeau, according to the team’s records. NBC and Peacock carry Sunday’s U.S. broadcast.
