Jayden Daniels set to return Sunday as Commanders face Giants
Dan Quinn confirms Washington’s quarterback will start against New York after missing two games with a dislocated left elbow.

Jayden Daniels will return as the Washington Commanders’ starting quarterback against the New York Giants on Sunday, October 11, head coach Dan Quinn confirmed Friday.
Daniels missed Washington’s previous two games after dislocating his left elbow in Week 2. He completed a full week of practice before being cleared for the home divisional game.
The Commanders considered bringing him back against Indianapolis in London last Sunday but allowed another week for the injury to heal. Daniels consulted multiple specialists during his recovery and will wear a brace on his non-throwing arm for the remainder of the season.
“I’m gonna embrace the brace,” Daniels said Wednesday, according to the team’s practice report. “Go out there and be the best version of myself.”
Washington enters at 1–3. Its final injury report lists backup quarterback Marcus Mariota out with a knee injury and receiver Stefon Diggs out with a hamstring injury. Terry McLaurin is questionable with a hamstring injury after limited participation Friday.
