Breece Hall will miss Sunday’s game at New England because of a quadriceps injury, Jets coach Aaron Glenn confirmed Friday. The absence leaves Braelon Allen in line to carry the running game again as New York begins its AFC East schedule.

The Jets’ official injury update also ruled out receiver Adonai Mitchell with a finger injury. New York will be missing left guard Dylan Parham because of a knee injury, another change for an offense trying to build on last weekend’s win.

Allen ran for a career-high 116 yards on 24 carries against Cleveland and scored the deciding 22-yard touchdown in a 17-12 victory. The Jets reported that he played 88.8 percent of their offensive snaps over the past two games, with Hall unavailable.

Hall was injured against Detroit in Week 3. Friday’s designation settles his availability for this weekend, while Glenn described next week as an important stage in getting the injured players back onto the field. It does not establish a return date for Hall.
