Arsenal scored three goals in seven second-half minutes to beat Lille 3–0 at Emirates Stadium Tuesday, recording their second Champions League league-phase victory in two games.

Jurriën Timber opened the scoring in the 64th minute after receiving Noni Madueke’s pass inside the box. Eberechi Eze doubled the lead three minutes later from Bukayo Saka’s delivery, and substitute Saka finished the scoring in the 71st.

Lille had a first-half goal disallowed for offside after Ayase Ueda put the ball past David Raya. Arsenal then broke through after the interval, with Mikel Arteta introducing Saka, Martin Ødegaard and Kai Havertz immediately after Timber’s opener.

Arsenal’s official report said the result extended their league-phase winning run to 14 matches, three short of Bayern Munich’s competition record. Arsenal visit Bayern on October 21. The current Champions League watch guide lists the remaining Matchday 2 games Wednesday, including Liverpool’s trip to LASK and Manchester City against Paris Saint-Germain.
