A’ja Wilson scores 36 as Aces eliminate Fever and reach semifinals
Wilson’s 36 points and 10 rebounds lead Las Vegas to a 94-83 Game 3 win, ending Indiana’s season despite 23 points from Kelsey Mitchell.

A’ja Wilson scored 36 points and collected 10 rebounds as the Las Vegas Aces beat the Indiana Fever 94-83 on Thursday, winning the deciding game of their first-round playoff series at Michelob ULTRA Arena.
The victory sends Las Vegas to the WNBA semifinals after a 2-1 series win. The Aces’ official game gallery and recap records Wilson’s line, which also included two blocks.
Chelsea Gray added 23 points, five assists and four rebounds. Jackie Young played all 40 minutes and finished with 18 points, eight rebounds and seven assists. Jewell Loyd contributed 11 points as a starter.
Indiana stayed close into the fourth
Yahoo Sports’ game report has Las Vegas ahead 54-48 at halftime and 70-65 after three quarters. The Aces then outscored Indiana 24-18 in the final period, turning a five-point lead into the 11-point final margin.
Kelsey Mitchell led Indiana with 23 points. Aliyah Boston finished with 19 points and 10 rebounds, while Caitlin Clark scored 18.
Clark had 11 points in the opening quarter, but finished 6-for-18 from the field and 3-for-12 from three-point range. Her seven points after the first quarter left Indiana needing more offense elsewhere as Wilson’s scoring continued to drive Las Vegas.
Mitchell, Boston and Clark combined for 60 points. Las Vegas received 77 from Wilson, Gray and Young, whose combined production gave the Aces enough scoring to finish the series at home.
