Ezri Konsa and Alex Scott have withdrawn from England’s squad before the October 6 UEFA Nations League match against Czechia at Wembley. England Football confirmed on October 5 that both players had returned to their clubs for further assessment.

Thomas Tuchel will prepare for the final game of the international window with 22 players. The federation’s update did not specify either player’s injury or give a recovery timetable.

Rico Lewis had joined the senior squad a day earlier from the under-21 team, after helping that side qualify for the 2027 European Under-21 Championship. Lewis has five senior caps, with his most recent appearance coming in November 2024.

England returns home after beating Croatia 7–0 in Rijeka on October 3. The Czechia fixture closes the four-game Nations League window that began in September.
