Frost Bank announced Wednesday that it has become the official bank of the Houston Rockets and Houston Comets, expanding its existing Rockets relationship and adding a new partnership with the WNBA team.

The October 21 announcement identifies the Comets agreement as Frost’s first partnership with a professional women’s sports team. Its Rockets relationship has lasted nearly a decade.

The sponsorship includes community financial literacy initiatives and Frost Fridays experiences at selected home games. Frost will also present the teams’ “For the Cup” programming around the NBA Cup and WNBA Commissioner’s Cup.

The agreement includes Frost Legends Club, a hospitality offering for guests attending Rockets and Comets games and arena events. The announcement did not disclose the sponsorship’s financial value or duration.

The Comets are scheduled to begin play in Houston in 2027 following the approved relocation of the Connecticut Sun. Additional partnership and community programming details will be announced during the season.
