StubHub announced an expanded partnership with the Capital Showcase on Wednesday, adding official ticket distribution to its secondary-market role for the November 8 men’s basketball game between Virginia and Arkansas at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.

The company becomes the event’s Official Open Distribution Partner and Official Secondary Ticket Marketplace, according to its October 21 announcement. StubHub describes Open Distribution as making official ticket inventory available through its marketplace, giving rightsholders another sales route.

StubHub was the secondary ticketing partner for February’s inaugural Capital Showcase, which matched Duke and Michigan. The new arrangement adds the distribution role for the next edition, produced by The Gazelle Group.

Arkansas’ official announcement lists the November 8 game for 11 a.m. MST, or 1 p.m. Eastern, with ESPN televising it. The Razorbacks and Cavaliers last met in 1998, when Arkansas won 85–83.

Financial terms and the amount of official inventory were not disclosed. The expanded agreement identifies separate official distribution and resale roles.
