Rams’ Alaric Jackson suspended for two games
The NFL suspended the Rams’ starting left tackle after he struck Buffalo’s Bradley Chubb. Sean McVay says Jackson will appeal.

The NFL suspended Los Angeles Rams left tackle Alaric Jackson for two games without pay Tuesday after he struck Buffalo Bills linebacker Bradley Chubb following Monday night’s overtime game. Rams coach Sean McVay said Jackson will appeal the punishment.
Jackson is scheduled to miss the Rams’ games against Arizona and Las Vegas unless the ruling changes on appeal. McVay said veteran David Quessenberry would start at left tackle during Jackson’s absence, according to The Associated Press.
The incident followed Buffalo’s 37–34 victory at SoFi Stadium. Television footage showed Jackson following Chubb after the players exchanged words and striking him in the head. Chubb did not retaliate as Buffalo teammates held him back.
Jackson has been the Rams’ starting left tackle since 2023. Los Angeles retained him on a three-year, $57.75 million contract before free agency in 2025. Quessenberry, 36, returned this offseason on a one-year deal after appearing in 13 games as a Rams reserve last season.
